Tell us about yourself and your roleplaying style. “I am a a fresh indie roleplaying system designer with a passion for theatre and a drive to use roleplaying systems to explore the human condition. This leads me to take an interest in the roleplaying aspects of play and prefer systems with narrativist, GMless, and storygame elements. Although my favorite genres are Gothic Horror and Theatrical Tragedy, I also enjoy some Absurdist or Satirical Comedy. My favorite roleplaying systems include Call of Cthulhu, Dream Apart, Fiasco, Paranoia, and Wraith: The Oblivion.”
Tell us about your favorite NPC to have run. “In a Call of Cthulhu campaign I roleplayed as an alternate history version of Albert Camus, who became corrupted by dark magic and tried to start the apocalypse. He often negotiated, intimidated, and parleyed with the investigators by speaking to them remotely through a flock of nightmarish bird-like familiars. That was quite a voice to act out!”
