Attack of the Neccomancer

Attack of the Neccomancer - Rayne D..png

A Game in the D&D 5E system led by Rayne Whitington

In this one-shot, you’ll play as members of The Red Hand Adventuring League. Your guild is frequently contracted to kill various beasts or bring back treasures from treacherous dungeons—it’s nice work if you can get it. This time, the kingdom known as The Sweetest Straight has called for aid. This strange island chain, born of wild magic, is made entirely from candy and sweets. Recently a powerful dark mage calling himself the Neccomancer has attacked the peaceful candy people there, and they need some brave adventurers to take him down!

  • This game will be great if you like Adventure Time, Dimension 20: A Crown of Candy and Discworld.

  • Players should prepare level 8 characters ahead. ~ The Sweetest Straight is essentially a grim-dark version of Candyland. Most of the inhabitants are peacefully ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy, but there’s some nasty stuff out there. For reference on the Candy People, think Adventure Time. You’re welcome to play as a standard D&D character in a candy world, or play as a candy person there to save your homeland. Create a character of any ancestry or class at level 8. My only prerequisite is that you need to know how your character/spells work, or be able to easily look them up. Please note, wild magic will be a factor in this setting. If you need resources, please check out my google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B2K6mrqQ2XseU2tZcm1jbDY5RFE Please also choose a magic item of common or uncommon rarity for your character to start with.

  • This game is best for experienced players of the D&D system. New players are still welcome.

  • This game will lean goofy and will slightly favor combat over role play.

  • This game will be hosted on the Con’s discord channel and be open for spectators.

  • CW: Rated PG13 for Fantasy Violence
