Acclaimed romance novelist, Ann Radcliffe, has come to Tarryford. Rumour has it she is working on her next novel. Rumour also has it, she's gone as mad as a hatter, so it should be a smashing good read. Of course, some might say reading novels induces idleness, negligence, moral degeneration, and brain fever, and invites attention from vast, inhuman intelligence beyond the sane understanding of mortal beings. But that's all claptrap and nonsense, right?
