Ever wanted to create a fascinating world and see how a village of people might survive, complete with conflicts from outside and inside? Well, The Quiet Year is the bizarre world building map drawing game for you. Throughout a few hours, we will guide (and sometimes harm) a community of people struggling to survive after some sort of apocalypse. This (relatively) Quiet Year will be filled with successes and failures and is certainly going to be fun (for us) to experience.

• This game will be great if you like Civilization, Banished, etc.

• Characters will be built in session… along with everything else.

• This game will be best for moderately experienced players.

• This game will balance silliness and seriousness. It will be entirely role play with no mechanical combat.

• This game will be run in the con’s discord server and spectators will be allowed.
