A July Update from the Indecisionist

Hello again adventurers. I hope your summer is off to a roaring start. This time of year has been complicated for me for the past few years. I used to be the time I went off to the grown-up summer camp that is the Renaissance Faire. My relationship to performing at those faires has changed and I’m still getting used to having time during this season. Don’t worry, I still get to put on my doublet and accent in the autumn and spring

Of course, even without giving up my weekends to one thing, I seem to love overscheduling myself. So, there’s still new stuff coming your way!

A Spooky TTRPG Pickup Con

TTRPG Pickup Con is still going strong and providing new opportunities for nerds to play games together. I am honoured by the number of people who are involved in the community for this event. Sign-ups open on July 15th this month and the event is still free to all. So, please tell your friends. There’s a lot to love.

This month we are trying something new by moving all of the sign-ups to a site called Warhorn which will handle all of the sign-up details and help people to, hopefully, have an easier time in finding games, managing time zones, getting signed up, and staying in communication. It should be a huge boon to the event.

Patronage

I am thrilled to still be offering my adventure membership program over on Ko-fi. This was the big news last time I sent out one of these updates and it is so rewarding to be connected with the members on Ko-fi and making modules to their suggestions. We’ve had six different adventures so far, including an Isekai story in Thirsty Sword Lesbians, a story of asymptomatic Werewolves in Dialect, and upcoming is a time travel playset for Fiasco.

If you get a chance to join us for the playtests, they’re always a good time.

Time 2 Party

Time 2 Party continues to be going strong. This month, Ben is in the throes of moving to California. So, I reached out to my old friend and podcasting buddies, Byron Czopek and Benton Sartore. We’re talking about Star Trek (2009) with a unique view of the movie which may or may not have revived a franchise.

New episodes drop on Mondays. Get it on your podcatcher of choice.
