As occupants of unceded territory, it is our responsibility to reflect on the debt owed to the original stewards of this land, namely the Three Fires Council, comprised of the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Bodéwadmi [Potawatomi]. It is also essential that we contribute towards their empowerment.
